First, attempts to contact a missing cat via psychic means is at best harmless nonsense, and no doubt makes the human feel marvellous. I hope your cat comes back and pray they are all safe wherever they are. This was July 2 and my heart is breaking every day. I have gone out for 3 weeks looking and asking around with pictures and postings. If I do not let this go, it will break my heart.
I picture Guntai to have a long long life and now he’s nowhere to be found. Where i live we don’t have any animal shelter and the animal awareness like in your country is something to be envied. I dearly hope that God will protect and guide Guntai home. I have a strong connection with a stray female cat for almost a year.
New cat hasn't come home tonight
Letter “LOST CAT” and “PLEASE HELP” in at least 3” letters above & below. People are more apt to help without exchanging money, so that is better than offering a reward. The biggest thing to remember if your cat gets lost is don’t give up!
Thanks for all the posts, it was comforting to read that others have had similar difficulties dealing with loss of their pet. The exact same thing just happened to me 2 days ago. I am supporting a colony of kittens since birth and they are now 8 months old. During my second the trip the boy kitten got loose and ran to the woods. I was just gaining his trust before this. I brought his sister back for an hour and hung out by the woods but he didn’t come.

If your cat is not spayed, she will attract unneutered male cats and will likely get pregnant. If you’ve had her @ a year and she’s not spayed, surely you would have noticed her crying in heat? Has she not seen a vet since you adopted her?

Depends on where you live, but I’d say the high population density might make it even worse. As they say about lost pets, dogs roam but cats hide. Only a very small percentage of cats are confident enough to show up back at your door. Most lost cats get so scared they lose the ability to find home on their own. Without funds, it’s hard to put out an ‘Alert’ for my missing 4yr old Manx, ‘Shortcut’. He is a large, friendly, athletic tailess Manx, and he’s come home recently w/o his expensive leather collar & Tags.
Follow Petful
Ask all the neighbours, go to the next streets around too. Call the local vets, animal shelters, pharmacies, and anywhere that you think people may gather - even churches and schools. Make a poster with his photo on and put copies anwhere that you are allowed to. Check all sheds and garages in the area, or ask people to do so. I haven’t lost any kitties, one of the many reasons mine stay indoors. But, I know how easy it is for them to slip out doors, too.

I have one disappear and never come back. I had one disappear and came back after three month. I nearly fainted when I saw her. Did you put an ad in the paper about BB?? He could have escaped out of a car that was out of town or in another town. The Bengal rescues is a good idea to contact.
What to do if my cat goes missing
I really want her to come to her kittens. Have your cat's microchip information available. Let local shelters and animal control know that your cat is missing . Talk to your neighbors (3–5 houses down). Consider posting flyers in your neighborhood , and use apps like NextDoor, Craigslist, etc. Cats aren’t that much more safe here in the Netherlands, especially in recent years.

By observing and accepting what what I am feeling, I can dissolve it. By not having craving and not having aversion towards it. I'm not returning her but she needs to go out. Any tips on getting her to go out? I keep thinking she's chipped and will be found eventually but I just hope she has some road sense. She's only been out the back and we live in a long row of terraces so I've never seen her on the road.
Hi, Kailey-Can you take the cat that meows into the house. Does it have to stay out there? Each cat needs a litter box, plus one. If you have two cats, you need 3 boxes, etc.
For photo poster makes sure you mention she may or may not be wearing a collar. Female cats don’t roam that far. Do a door to door search with photos asking neighbors if they have seen her. Keep searching and look up to high branches of trees and other places I mention in the post. Good luck and let me know what happens. If she does return, it’s important that she be checked out by a vet.
Unfortunately, it can be very difficult to rescue a cat that’s been taken far from home, which is why tags and microchips are so essential to your cat’s safety. My cat missed from 4-th September. He is a boy 3 years old.I did castration when he was 1 year old.No matter of what i did I don’t find him.I will explode from sadness... A noticeable 29% of homing incidences occurred when an owner moved and a cat returned to their old home . Most cats are within a 1-mile radius of their home when they go "missing." I've grown up with cats but they always came home before the night fell and were hungry. He was a 10-pound cat before he left, and he came home weighing under 7 pounds.

Mine are on hinges and swing unfortunately. I live across the street from a naval stadium which they are holding a game today. I’m worried about all these people and noise. Good heavens, it seems that most of the contributors to this thread have a series of issues they need to resolve.
It's why I keep all my pets indoors, if they want outside they're on a leash with me. Seeing country cats enjoy the great outdoors is a pleasure, but is it fair to put your cat at risk? OG is home safe, getting stronger every day, warm and purring by the fire. He may find the cat door in a permanent state of “lock down” when he tries to conquer the outside world again.
